first day of work

I got up bright and early this morning , eager with anticipation. After all, this is my very first job. I've had no work experience whatsoever. I was greeted by a handsome-looking caucasian guy at the HR dept! ((: met him at the lift lobby and he was so gentlemanly! there were manymany doors and he opened manymany doors. (: anyway, he even made an effort to strike a conversation since i was really early. lol. [no, i do not have a crush on him. i just thought that it would be nice if singaporean guys can be more gentlemanly.]

spent most of the morning learning the system and all. so many things to remember! confusing! thank goodness the person in charge didnt test michelle and i. If not, gg! and as most people would say, working is very boring! monotonous. i really wonder how all the people with office jobs can withstand it. Day in, day out, doing roughly the same stuff. Staring at the computer screen for hours doing transactions... I sat till my butt ached! rawrrr.

colleagues. i was surprised to find quite a handful of people our age. Altogether, 4 girls waiting for A level results (including me), 2 guys who ord-ed and waiting to enter university, and a couple of people in their early twenties. the whole big group of us went out for lunch together. hmmm. and i witnessed the 'chope with tissue paper thing'. it was amusing! [childish! lol.]
i think my colleagues (those my age) are generally a friendly bunch. it was quite funny. they have this tradition where everyone knocks off and walks to the mrt station together. but this being our (michelle and i) first day, we had to go collect our temp staff passes after knocking off. guess what? the whole group tagged along. hehe.

okayokay. enough details. there's work tmr! gotta get up early. gooodnight!
