german lady

deja vu. sitting here staring at the clock. its past 3am again.

learnt new variations today. i find that the people at this place are quiet and reserved, much unlike the other place. anw, a german lady asked for directions when we were along the spore river. we brought her to the river cruise and gave her some kaya toast to try. hehe. i was talking to her throughout when we were walking towards the river cruise stand. she was travelling alone bcos her husband didnt want to take the 12.5 hour flight here. how brave of her! i wouldnt travel alone in some foreign land. her daughter did an exchange prog in spore last year and wrote down all the places she should visit in a book for her. (saw the book full of scribblings and recommendations) a pity she's flying off the next day to darwin. she's gonna visit her friend in melbourne. we were talking about london as well. she lived near regents park and was there 40 yrs ago! she doesnt even look that old to me. we exchanged emails and phone numbers in the end. she said i could visit her in munich if i go over! such friendliness (: something which i like about the people over there. ;D

its kinda cool how we cross paths with random people in our lives. some making just a blurry imprint, others leaving behind deeper impressions...
